I popped in here on a Friday night to grab a few items with my mom. This Indian market has produce, spices, curries and lots of snacks. They also have a a small menu of items to include rice, curries and sweets. We decided to grab a dish to share. They had a small area for seating. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala. The flavor and spices were perfect and the chicken was soft. This was a nice little outing. The only recommendation would be for to figure out a better way to take orders as the line was long and awkwardly places to get into the store itself. On line ordering would help their work flow and volume.

The market is superb. It's clean and well-stocked. I didn't get a chance to eat there, but it smelled great and the menu looked good.

They have really good food and they have really good customer service, Umesh and Cruz and Whole team are the best. Best Indian food in Portland . Also they have fresh vegetable and groceries. The samosas biriyani and mango lassi are to die for. 5

This is an amazingly clean Indian grocery store that has all the basics you are probably looking for. And friendly workers too. In the same space as the restaurant. Highly recommended!

This is a great business. Very clean, very friendly staff and competitive pricing. And they will go an extra mile to help out. I wanted to put this out. The owner of Apna Chat Bhavan( Restaurant) and Apna Bazar(Grocery) Mr. Srinivas has done a great job of quickly, following lockdown, setting up Websites for both businesses. You can order and pay online with both delivery and pickup options. Both businesses are located in Beaverton just outside of Portland. Apna Chat Bhavan is the most popular and has the best Biryani that I've tested anywhere including India. I would like to call out one special person from their kitchen staff, Mr William. Very polite and great smile. Thank you Srinivasji for your service to the local community.

This was the first spot that we tried as soon as we landed in Portland. It was cold and we were craving some Indian food and this place seemed to have a lot of options to try from. It is an Indian store with a kitchen and seating area. So its kinda a restaurant in the Indian store. The kitchen started serving around 11:30 am and we got there around the same time. We ordered veg pakora, veg thali and some tea. Pakora was really good and it was really crunchy. Thali was good and portion size were huge. Thali had sambhar, rice, pulav, sweet, roti, papad, and subzi of choice. We went with subzi of the day and it was mutter aloo beans. Everything in the thali tasted delicious and we absolutely loved it. As the time progressed a lot of people started trickling in for lunch around 12-12:15pm. And it got really busy. Parking lot is huge and we easily found parking when we went there around 11:30am. Staff was attentive and quick. There was ample seating around the kitchen and in an area behind the kitchen. Highly recommended for a quick bite or an exhaustive meal.
